"As a leisure cyclist I was used to putting the miles in, but with a cycling holiday to Mallorca with the famous Sa Colabra Climb on the horizon I knew I needed to step up my training.This is where I turned to Tom Smith a personal trainer at The Hub in Chepstow, Tom was very personable and listened to the cycling objectives I had set and asked about my current training so he could devise a compatible and personal training programme for me. Tom recognised that cycling used more than legs so developed a programme that focused on leg strengthening, core and upper body along with a programme of stretching that would aid my cycling.Improvement was gradual but noticed and needless to say that I completed the Mallorca trip, enjoying the climbs and rides and it was noticed by friends how much my cycling had improved."
